The coin is dedicated to Pavlo Polubotok (app 1660 - 1724), Hetman of the Left-bank Ukraine who headed high-rank Cossacks, opposed the restrictions of rights of the autonomous Ukraine. He advocated the revival of hetmanship and dissolution of the Little Russia Collegium. For his opposition he was imprisoned organization in Peter and Paul fortress in St.Petersburg , where he died thereafter. Polubotok is buried in St.Petersburg
